Care is put into every step in making our goat milk soap. It begins in the pasture where the goats enjoy plenty of fresh forage and sunshine. We manage our herd in as natural a way as possible, to ensure both the health of our goats and quality of the milk they work hard to make. We raise Nubian goats for the high fat content of their milk which adds to the creamy goodness in each bar.

Each doe (female goat) is taught to be comfortable with the milking process from a young age. We brush, handle and feed the little doelings on the milking stand in preparation for their future careers. It takes approximately 2 years from the time of birth for a doe to be ready to start working.

Once our does reach the age of milk production, they are milked daily for about 9 months out of the year. We take the fresh milk from the barn to the house, then strain and freeze it. Each bar of our soap contains an ounce of fresh goat milk. We do not use powdered goat milk or add any water to our recipe.

We mix the fresh frozen goat milk with lye, then use that solution to soaponify RSPO (sustainable) palm oil, olive oil, and coconut oil. We use essential oils (not fragrance oils) for our scented bars and coloring is added in the form of natural clays or charcoal. Bars cure in our soap cellar for a minimum of 3 weeks before labeling.

In 2026 we proudly partnered with our local special needs organization, Streator Unlimited Inc, for labeling services. We take the bars in once cured and labels are professionally applied by SU consumers. From here, the bars go back to the farm to await shipping or the next farmer’s market.
We offer shipping to United States addresses and will soon be adding a list of local shops carrying our soap. We also post on our Facebook page when we will be attending area farmer’s markets, so be sure to give us a follow to stay in the loop.
